Hmmm, just worked out why no-one fitted an outside sink drain to Lizzie Lu.
The hole in the floor lines up nicely with body of the Waeco cool drawer. Hard to see a way round it without drilling a hole in the painted and rustproofed floorpan, which I'm very reluctant to do.
The sink and cool drawer cabinet is a nicely made bespoke unit, possibly made by someone who doesn't do VW interiors so didn't consider how to get the waste water out.
Anyone got a solution to this problem they'd like to share?

You could put a waste water container under the sink but I’d just drill a hole in the floor and protect the cut edge.

If you drill the hole, file/ sand the edges smooth to avoid metal sticking out then paint the edge and then put a grommet in it, it will not rust. For added benefit, then splodge a load of non-setting mastic round a bit of PVC pipe pushed through the hole, and then feed a sink drain hose through the PVC .
