I get my logs from Whitehorse Energy , mad as they are in Cirencester and I’m Wirral. I get a full crate , it used to be ( I think ) a cubic metre but because of green nonsense they had to reduce the crate by about 4 inches (which I am told is 100mm.)to comply. Their kiln dried wood is excellent. In April I took a crate of Ash for £275, I’ve just had their offer of £70 off the current price of £430 so £380 !. The crates are great as they chop up for kindling. I don’t know if they are profiteering or is there a major run on logs?
Needless to say I won’t take their offer up as I’m logged up.

 

In the South, we normally burn quiche.

I’ve never bought wood and with all the ash trees being cut down I can’t see me having too soon.

Ash is one of the few woods you can burn straight away without being seasoned and also gives great heat

I thought they had left handed knitting kneedles and left handed knitting books, if not could you knot cross your hands over? Bit like on a bike but you won’t crash

 

I don't think that either the wool or the needles will know or mind that you are left handed.

 

And boys. I was taught to knit at primary school, not that I use it much these days...

Collected some free ash today from a freinds tree they had felled..
