    Life's too short to iron socks ;)
    My fish tank sprung a leak yesterday (just as I was about to go out), and the temporary bodge that got it through the night didn't get it through the day whilst I was at work.... so I came home to a half full tank and a big puddle...... I've spent the last 4 hours up to my elbows in fish! I'll take a nice photo when the new tank has settled down, I'll see if I can get all the little blighters to pose.

    I've put Colin in a new pot :thumbsup:

    @scrooge95 Are you a cactus expert? For such a tall plant, he seemed to have hardly any roots. A couple of stringy tap roots and a few whiskery things. Beats me how they survive.

    Not a clue. I had a really tall one up until recently, with about 4 different height 'towers'.... knocked the blasted thing over whilst wearing shorts, it snapped into numerous shorter pieces, and deposited about a million tiny spines into the back of one leg. I stuck a small top piece into a pot out of a strange sympathy for the fact I'd broken it, just in case it might grow some roots, and the rest went on the compost heap!

    They're putting a Christmas tree up where I work. It's about 10 foot tall, yet we have two men in hard hats, traffic cones and an elevating platform to put the decorations on. It's taken them about two hours to get this far.
