    We had a nice walk along the Oxford Canal near Aynho. Nice way to relax after dads funeral yesterday.

    18B03802-248F-46EB-BE04-5C52C9357F7A.jpeg I have just driven back from Oxfordshire in the Fiat after being first car following the hearse for dads funeral. It was all nice and shiny on Friday (albeit scratched quite a lot) as dad liked to keep it tidy when it was his.

    However, it appears to be like the Grandfather Clock in the old song....

    I stopped by Southam to check clutch fluid as the clutch pedal felt odd. Fluid all present and correct. I had a new clutch a year ago plus slave cylinder so thought I was imagining it. Shifted up the M1 then as I pulled up the slip rd at Jnc 29 I couldn’t drop the gears, fortunately the lights were both on green in my favour so I could go round the roundabout coasting. Even more fortunately there was a lay-by on the dual carriageway that I managed to slowly coast into :)

    phoned Carole Nash breakdown and they said 60-90 mins. 30 mins later the nice breakdown man was putting the car on the trailer :).

    Hopefully its repairable and hasn’t stopped short never to go again....
