    So sad. Huge sympathy, as it's a terrible situation to be in during normal times and made so much worse at the moment. It's little consolation that your Dad is fortunate to have a supportive family trying to get the best for him.

    we have been going in virtually every day for lunch and tea feeding, along with the help of Dad’s regular lunchtime carers. We were horrified in the minimal care. One day I went in and dad just croaked ‘thirsty’ at me :( :(, folks with Alzheimer’s/dementia don’t always know they need a drink so need prompting. He must have been really really thirsty. At that point I could have punched all the staff.
