My Damson and Plum trees both took a battering from a fallen fir tree this spring, both losing main branches, followed by a dry late spring and summer, so hardly produced any fruit.
Normally I have loads which I dish out to neighbours and my mum, who turns them into jam.
But none this year.

Damsons can disappear literally in a day once the birds find them fully ripened, so any fruit they do produce can vanish very quickly. They leave no evidence of them ever having existed!

 

Completion complete.
Moved in this afternoon Herman in his own house with room to spare for tinkering.
Should be enough room for an engine removal. Yipeee @Lasty .

Ilkley Moor ont left with Beamsley Beacon again. In between, Lothersdale, Cowling edge and onto Lad Law.

If you're ever on the the A59, stop at the Blubberhouses quarry lay by and take a potter up. Maybe a bit squelchy.
