Busy there Soggz?

 

Same here, no use to me whatsoever but I'm a sucker for old analogue stuff - I put it down to installing analogue meters and timeclock switches for the Electricity Board.

 

Remains of a 6x8 shed nearly fit in the corolla. It would have all fitted in my caravelle and still left room for 7 people and probably a couple of dogs.

 

Surprisingly yes. This is part of Chesil Beach, that you can only get to if you row across the fleet, or walk all the way up from Portland end, or Abbotsbury.
There were 7 other people fishing!
I wanted some peace and quiet, for the weekend!
(Has 8 codling,though).

It's been a bit... 'uncomfortable' this past 4 weeks I must admit. Fortunately I've been able to tinker with the van (little jobs like changing the exhaust ) with my good hand which has definitely helped keep me sane.

The fun part's when they pull the pins out - with no anesthetic, just sit you down with a chunky nurse and a big pair of stainless steel pliers !

 

They did go in a fair way - wince!

 

At least you get them removed, lookup up Kushner nail for a sobering moment

This heap is parked opposite the village’s artisan bakery. It must irritate the hell out of them as they’ve got a 1920’s replica sign written van. I’m genuinely surprised that this is actually legally on the road. At least I think it is.
The woman that owns this is, shall we say ‘eccentric’?

This made me laugh! Ordered a replacement seal-retaining strip, which measures all of 36 inches by about an inch and a half, and the box it came in measured 30 inches by 24!! Wifey thought it was something big and important!!

I had 4 in my arm once. Didn't really hurt when they unscrewed them out the bone. Made the fingers twitch when it came out through the skin. That was probably due to the fact he couldn't get into the theatre to get the special tool so just clamped on some mole grips. Unfortunately not square lol
