So what do the good folks of TLB do about the sliding door one? Full length? Dangly? Fitted above door? Fitted to door? I'm doing the windscreen one at the mo. you have time to reply.
Full length so one can Sit on Marmitehouse with door open Lay in bed with door open and not be seen Lay on the bed on night summer nights naked and no be seen, this one does not apply to uk camping. Change out of wet/dirty clothes without slamming the door and knocking more rust off.
I agree - full length. we have a metal curtain track above the sliding door and slidey thingys connected to the curtain, and a tie back. So the curtain is out of the way when driving and during the day and nicely private at night
Wired to the door . Gets a bit grubby as the door does what sliding doors do but other than that works well . I`m currently looking to sort out my curtains but will be using material similar to what`s in there at the moment , sort of a thick linen which won`t be as bulky as the commercial offerings and unlined which takes up less space = more window Top man for having a go @zedders - you have far too much time on your hands these days
rail fixed to the van curtains hanging but have some magnets sew in the hem so they stick to the door
When one is standing in front of an industrial sewing machine, the choice being skip it and pay for sewing or have a go, what would you do? I've since checked the price of camper curtains. What did peeps do before magnets? I want to do that.
Velcro smelcro - over my dead body. I'll make tie backs and see how it goes. if no good I'll chop curtains. Best try that way round I think!
No magnets either thanks, they stick to stuff you don't want them to. What happened to tradditional crafts?
Two self tappers and a bit of white springy net curtain wire stretched between the self tappers about an inch under the bottom of the glass. Draw the curtain and then tuck it under the wire which holds the curtain into the door at the bottom.
