Serious question

I have one of those ridiculous side steps on the carp bus which I'm going to cut off when I can be arsed, other than banging your shin on it what purpose do they serve my kids have never used it to get in and out even when they were small

 

They are for banging your shins on.

 

Smashing into kerbs and bending the jacking points. Rotting the jacking points.

 

Take it off and sell it to some other mug

That's why I said I'm going to cut it off

 

I use mine to give my shoes a little wipe before getting in but definitely not for that purpose

 

I’ve been thinking of getting one are they not good.
