Before any of that can happen ....

 

It looks at first like angle grinders mating on a shag pile carpet. Then a Stig-like being comes into view.

 

This is indeed the Mrs she wanted to see what all the fuss was about

And I was poking around underneath as I seen a small hole when was under there but my god some one had plated and fillered it but nearly Solid again now


Hours welding left ran out of wire

Allso some new basket we've carpet came today to make new cab mats and will edge them to custom fit the tubs ect will use same material as upholstery to edge it

Bit more done today fitted sound deadening pads everywhere in strips to stop panels sounding like tin allso had some 7mm from sound deadening done the hole bus in it all tubs ect front and rear
And then knocked up a cab mat from the new carpet and edged to with some left over material from the seats goes wel with the kick panel

Made another mat custom to suit the massive front tubs allso finished the chassis repair off all solid again

Quality repair Si , better welding than some on here ..

 

Cheers for that exhaust wrap gonna use it as gotta heat sheild to make and wrap allso turned up today mate cheers !!

Iv had a lot of pratice at welding now mate to be honest but this bus and the air ride ect has been so so much work ect and just fitted my 3rd 5kg reel and wire

Nothing done today as melted yesterday welding in the inner and outer sill as was crusty but now we decided to run the Daisy Duck thing through "daisy " no alcohol was consumed on this decision

Been slow again on the refurb as back at work now very very busy 6 days a week but had an hour and got the dash out and trimmed the dash pad did trim the clocks but I chose against the idea looked crap

Made a start on the new head liner due to my roof cut it can't be done in 1 piece will have to be 2 bits but was before looked ok
Sewed the x2 bows ready for Sunday to pop windscreen out and fit it

Been out working but got miss daisy sanding the dash and painted bottom colour this time and in semi gloss 2k like a Matt finish allso the steering wheel had a revamp in gloss grey









Hope to get front head liner in tomorrow and windscreen our and back in
