  1. Are they audi switches, 6A is that for back/base and bolster elements, think ours was 8A. How did you control them with just switches ? may have look at making ours adjustable temp settings, but only wired up bottom pad on ours didnt want to overload alternator.

Just discovered ours was built between 1956 and 1963 in a factory in Scotland. Modern lighter weight aluminium ones were first made from recycled WW2 aluminium in 1946..Amazing sewing machines. In 1934 apparently they cost 6 months wages for a domestic servant. They bought them to earn extra money making curtains and dresses. In 1940 the singer 201K sold new for 10% of the price.of a house...Rolls Royce used a variant sewing leather on seat bases..they will sew 4 layers of canvas..

  3. Lowered the seat base a bit more than the passenger so it's supper low and loads of clearance under steering wheel should be 10mm more than before the 3" tubs now allso finished the base cover so all ready to paint base frame and all plastic bits up and refit this seat up then I'll get bus home and crack on with the interior retrim [IMG]
The plastic base been trimmed to just clear runners to slide still so can fit the hammock in still fi or the little one

Banging job mate! I’ve just ordered the fabric to get the baja’s upholstery started while I’m stuck in the house.
