  1. Hi,

I will soon need new rear shocks to rebuild the rear end of my bus.
I decide to go oem and use sachs shocks.
There is 2 models for the rear, normal or heavy duty.
I was thinking using HD ones, ref 793031, but don't want to have a too hard ride as I don't plan make a full camper oit of my bus. A rock and roll bed and thats all.
On the other hand, fitted with a hd front roll bar and heavy duty shocks may give a better ride?

  2. Personally i`d go for the lighter ones , reason being the vans were built to carry heavy goods and with only a basic interior the load will be maybe 150kg max - nothing like the tonnage they were rated for .

Also worth noting the shocks are actually dampers , so won`t affect the spring strength ..

    :hattip:
