Sorry to be the fly in the ointment here and i do appologise to daisy but i feel the need to ask this How much did the carb upgrade cost you in pounds
£395 as my og solexs was leaking more fuel and every electrical connection had been soldered and the choke kept a getting stuck !!
Solexes are 32/34s, so going to 34icts isn't going to really give you a performance gain... as you're virtually swapping like for like
Hence i said im not up on type fours But im sure you have seen some of the Marmitee people have put there hand in their pocket for Unleaded heads etc Its a nice graph hes posted I forgot it was a mail order rebuild He has nowt to worry about that engine will go on for a long time if he looks after it Following him on here over time id say he will be building engines for me in years to come The fellas keen and like a sponge to knowledge Shall we tag team him to the floor and use mind power to impart the dub knowledge on him I kind of like the idea of making him choose a colour of tablet

No buddy they came pre jetted , No not impulse just wanted a new set of reliable carbs the same as what I had but put fuel in not out lol not need power at 55/60mph
It's a 1600 3rib box buddy , this is on my list for the winter I hope get a higher ratio gearbox but can't see there being much difference 1600-1700 but still want 1
Enjoy ya bus si , you always get it fixed quicker than anyone i know so ................. even 50 extra hp aint gona get you their much quicker on our clogged up roads n well if you wana go faster F1 is the way to go i assume as long as your behind me your rolling
I do enjoy it barn only had rolling road to set up nice don't go over 60 on my speedo which is about 54mph on GPRS but I don't care how long it takes barn 1 smile per mile and a cheeky grin and wave some times
