Hey Mr Roo You will sat there one day by your T5 And someone will come up and say "I've always wanted one of these!" Or "an Audi R 8 engine bolts straight in!
Quite agree , the campsite I was on at the weekend had a few brand new T5s on there , I watched them drive into the campsite , when the occupants got out they had a look of ' ooh what do we do now ' about them , I muttered ' chequebook wannabes ' under my breath and carried on working away under the engine lid to try and find out what was wrong with ' the bloody thing'
None of us would have met if it wasn't for the T2 so don't forget that @rickyrooo1 You use to camp loads in Bolly though and it never let you down.
I would have one but for the investment required I could restore my bay, buy a new daily and a good motorcycle, a road bike, a mountain bike, a kidney, cuddly toy, condiment set........... lets have a look at the old score-board.......
MUST ADMIT THERE'S A LOT OF DECORATORS, PLUMBERS AND PLASTER'S ABOUT NOW AND IT'LL ONLY GET WORSE WITH THE HOUSE RENOVATION PROGRAMMES ON THE TV AND THE FACT YOU CAN GET 4 X 8 X 4 SHEETS IN THEM AND ALL THE TOOLS AS WELL.
The irony is most small companies choose mercs and vivaro's etc as T5's struggle to justify the premium.
cheap as chips really. after all a highish mileage T5 aint expensive and if you go down the builders van route and convert. For the price of a mediochre bay your on the road. Im sure this is haggleable and regardless of spec likely to outperform your bay http://motorhomes.autotrader.co.uk/.../seocounty/nottinghamshire/seotown/Nottingham a few camping goodies come with it so good to go really!
