It looks as though the hanger on its own can be bought at bike brakers but does anyone know how you would get the pedal and foot rest out? Don't want to have to buy the whole assembly. It's off an old cbr600f '99 the fixing for the pedal isn't something I recognise. Cheers folks Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
Oops forgot photos. The 2nd one is from the inside of the pedal. Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
Disconnect brake rod , remove hanger and brake pedal together, remove circlip, remove pedal , remove footyrest... Reverse the procedure , rebuilding with new a new hanger and grease on the brake pivot then go out and win the race Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Just noticed there's a spring loop on the lever and brake light switch but no spring ?? Needs a bloody good clean and that's from someone rarely gives anything a bloody good clean but you'll get a better idea with all the old crappy grease gone ... Just a thought.. I was just riding along then there was no foot peg anymore and then no brake. It was a bit scary on the elevated section of M4! Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
Ah I see yes. And thanks to @snotty too for spotting the circlip. I just got to find hanger now. Cheers chaps P. Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk

2nd hand part turned up in the post. Straight forward swap and all good again. Trigger's broom is back on the road! Thanks everyone. Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
Post a pic of the bike please. I used to have one of these (black-silver-yellow) until I totalled it on the B'ham Queensway in 2000. Bloody good commuter bike and I also see them at the track still.
Will do. It's nowt to look at. I've owned the bike from new. Loved it. Been computing on it since 1999. And been parked on the street and exposed to all winters and summers since. Faded, scratched and peeling. Total work horse and I love it! Still pulls like a train though! Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
