That is cool! That fella must have some strong arms and core to keep in position.

Isn’t that a Royal Marines beret he’s wearing (apols any RMs reading this if I’m wrong), so I’d imagine he a pretty strong fella.

That’s an amazing bit of kit and he seems to do it quite quickly.

  5. online I've seen him doing similar from various ships, @Jack Tatty correct ... although his beret badge could do with a good clean.

    That is quite impressive.

Was listening to the two Queen Elizabeths on the marine VHF last Wednesday - the HMS Queen Elizabeth was steaming alongside the liner. It turned out the HMS Queen Elizabeth didnt manage to launch a helicopter before the light got too bad for some aerial shots. But the captain of the Queen Elizabeth liner thanked HMS Queen Elizabeth for providing something for the crew to look at to relieve the monotony of spending months aboard. In return the HMS QE captain hoped that he would be seeing the liner again while on an overseas deployment next year.

Brings home the 1 year pause in Cunard's operations.

We saw one lot doing that in Gloucester docks very impressive but only has a 30s to a minute run time then you get very wet

  11. It seems a bit pointless,
when a drone could do all that stuff..

So is an F-35 plane. But they both impress people. As does a modern aircraft carrier.
