I applied for my daughters first licence two months ago. When I checked online it states that they can not continue as they are waiting for paperwork from me. I have completed and sent all the paperwork Royal Mail signed for. I contacted the DVLA who have told me they can not give me a timescale. They say that they will not update the web until they issue the licence but they wont issue the licence until they recieve the paperwork and they have so much paperwork arrive they dont log it? It seems a bit chicken and egg?
Simply re-send copies of the whole lot quoting their reference number, every Tuesday from now until the licence is finally received.
