PLEASE READ LAST BIT Engine cuts out after 5-10 mins urgent help needed

    Thought he said he couldn't hold it....
    Too hot to hold (as stated) = bad
    Not too hot to hold = fine

    He is at exeter services , been driving for neary 3/4 hr since last stop , dipstic he can hold , not stinking running ok . If theirs anyone near here or on A303 towards M3 WITH LIGHT who can help or just check his timing , hes naturally worried re fixed dissy i said would be good to get it checked .

    after the long hill (first stop) i couldn't - after 45 mins easier run its very hot but could hold it for 10 secs with willpower ! It just seems borderline - spoke to barn on phone again who is great. Been trying to get home since Friday and not even been camping in it yet!

    It is good been later evening ,because the temp outside will be cooler and aid the engine cooling...:thumbsup:

    The main issue is it's pretty much all uphill between Exeter and Bristol...

    This is hard ! You say it's a hard slog Exeter to Bristol ? But on the other hand would motorways be easier on the engine than a303 route ?
