Photos loading the wrong way? Read on..

Right, for some reason the uploading of pictures has changed, and some landscape photos are posted in portrait.
It turns out, the photo uploads in whatever orientation you hold your device in, whilst uploading said photos.
Sounded like sloblocks to me too, but it works.

Edit: This is apparently only for Apple devices.

 

Maybe. Loading it whilst holding the device in the orientation you want works though. I’ve just tried it.

 

No it doesn’t

 

however, the orientation of the device when the photo is taken does matter!

 

tried again, uploading the photo whilst holding the device the same way it was when the photo was taken. Didn’t work.

A test

 

The first one I took in Landscape, the second in portrait. The portrait one was a bit smaller size wise

 

That was taken in landscape but uploaded in portrait and worked.
Bugger only knows then.

 

And that was taken in landscape, uploaded in landscape.
