Cheers for the input razzy I have it my memory that that cupboard used to annoy me but that interior got binned in 2006 so maybe I’ve got confused. So that gives me the option of blocking one window.
Mrs para says the cabinet probably got on my tits because I couldn’t see out of the window when I was lay in bed I’ve come across these on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/36367801...kTkWe1ARmm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY If those will fit my gutters then adding a length of box section steel or some uni strut Should allow me to mount my awning, traction boards etc to the side just above gutter height.
Or there’s these ones designed for a t25 but more expensive https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25506854...kTkWe1ARmm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY And campervan culture do these ones https://campervanculture.com/shop/c...-for-vw-t2-bay-window-fits-arb-style-awnings/ And there’s these ones from fiamma which I believe Zed used with slight modification to fit his wind out awning https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fiamma-Ada...ocphy=9046702&hvtargid=pla-472127910959&psc=1
And these @paradox . I'd had some correspondence with the guy that makes them and he will do custom ones but there's a lead time. Good price and I was considering them for our T3 rack but ended up going down a different route... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25506854...aEZahbWS0y&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Cheers I did come across those and put the link in a post above. What route did you end up going for gorans rack?
Oops yeah just clicked your link I designed a set of bumpers that these guys fabricated and ordered 8 of the brackets linked below. For what I want they are a neater solution. They've increased in price 3 fold nearly since ours arrived. Currency strength now makes them even worse value https://sklep.tygrys.syncro.pl/en/s...wego-vw-t3.html#/58-roof_type-normal_169mm_st
Bumpers are on. I'll stick some pics on here. Rack's still to be mounted but likewise when I've done that
Took the front arch lip back to bare metal Bit of seam sealing and started prep on the outside of the middle panel and the front arch.
I’m sweating my tits off It’s not helping that the panel is about as flat as the surface of the moon I don’t think pw put a long block anywhere near it
Front arch and middle side panel all prepped now Just a final wipe down and a bit of masking Then hopefully paint on Friday It’s supposed to be 20 degrees so a good temperature to paint at. I also had a see how high above the pop top The traction mats would sit if they were mounted at gutter level
