Condolences on your loss, a step back from the van every now and then does you mind some good as these vans can drain enthusiasm when you’re in deep.
It’s nice knowing it’s dry indoors and secure for a change It’s just been stored here for now as the owner of the lockup isn’t keen on mess and dust being made plus other people are storing their vehicles in the same building. There maybe an option down the line of putting a marquee/tent type thing in there to work in but for now it’s just storage.
I went to the lock up today I’ve got the van inside a marquee with a tarp on the floor and all the joins taped up. So now I’m able to work on it in there without dust spreading to the rest of the unit.
Excellent that will make a pleasant change from tackling jobs outside. You are in the home straight now. Keep going
I’m really sorry to hear the sad news about your Mum Para, I’ve just caught up with your thread. I’m a bit slack at keeping current on social media nowadays. Also....get your flipping van back on the road and go camping.
I put some lighting in the gazebo today Removed the window to address some rust bubbles popping up under the seal. Stripped the paint back to bare metal using a poly strip disc and keyed the metal up with 120 grit on the detail sander Then painted it in hammerite no1 rust beater
