Yes. I am going to fit a fold up sink and water heater. The heater will go where the gas bottles were. Since I fitted an underslung tank.
I think you should have a 'Jurgen Off' at the next techenders. I'd love to see one in the flesh and it may help keep my supid idea of buying one from SA become more real
You should so buy one, they are amazing!!! I can walk round if I so wish and lounge gracefully on the caravan-esque seating whilst sipping a cocktail in the warm Don't listen to what your brain says, listen to meeeee
Oh yeah, we want to be exclusive! In that case nah, they're rubbish mate. Too big and smell of old people
I just need to find a way of justifying it to myself. The problem is you can only drive one camper van at a time and there is no way i am getting rid of mine. I've had it for 17 years and im keeping it for life. So I could justify it for v long camping trips (mine doesn't have cooking stuff in), it will probably go up in value so better than cash in the bank, I could hire it out (which i would never do with mine). In fact I could start a wedding business, i'd drive them to the wedding in mine and hire them a Jurgens for their honeymoon! A One stop shop, right i'm off to SA
I love the seats, and the wood effect dash! not too sure about the wooden engine cover though @skirk did you have masses of polystyrene in the engine bay too?
Wood is quite fire resistant. We don't have the wood effect dash. I do like the wood effect dash. I love our seats, better than the cab floor to sit on Yes loads of polystyrene . It's behind all the wall and ceiling cladding as well.
Another tech question @skirk - where the table goes when the seating is in bed form, what fills the gap between the table and the little seat at the back centre of the bus? we have a home made thing with a couple legs on dodgy hinges that stands in the hole
@Majorhangover Ours is similar but sounds more substantial. The 'leg' is a length of wood. I fold this up. Put the table in the bed position then lower the hinged part so it rests on the table piece.
Thanks bud, If you get a chance at some point could you grab me a picture, I can see on ours where there used to be some hinges but cant see how it would stay up
Will do but I've got to make a engine hatch and re model the height due to new engine. Probably be mid week
Okay. Just finished refitting new lid and hinge bit. In Newark tomorrow for Bulldog Day. Will post some pics for you tomorrow night. Cheers.
@Majorhangover Hi is this what you wanted to see ? Middle one shows the piece above the lid folded back and resting on back wall.
Thanks bud, i cant quite work out how that works in the day setting though! We have this when trying to make it into a bed, and we have the holes where your hinges are, And we also have this table which fits outside and sort of fits where the door is to make it into 2 singles i think:
It restricts the leg room in day setting to be honest. We have the other bit. It goes across to the cooker unit. As you said to make two singles. Mrs K hasn't got that peed off with me yet to use that configuration.
