Yes, a fabulous car. My college tutor had one and I helped him changed the starter on it; not a lot of space when you've crammed a Corvette motor into a relatively small car. Well out of my league too, I'm afraid.

in the 70s if you bought an acre of German land the chances of one dropping in on you was quite high

 

Ah Captain Lockheed and the starfighters, although after this amount of time I could be wrong

 

They certainly killed a few Luftwaffe pilots in their time…

 

A quick check shows the Luftwaffe lost 292 out of 916 aircraft, resulting in the death of 116 pilots
