Morning all, Anyone got an old slide projector they no longer want? I’ve just found a load of old slides in the loft from when me and @Mattlad went to Uganda 20 odd years ago and would like to have a proper look at them. Could either borrow if you’re local or buy. Cheers

Morning Doug! I will admit to a fair quantity of Ugandan beer and Waragi , but I would hope I'd remember you two!! When were you there? I was backpacking around east Africa for a few months at the start of '99, so Uganda probably late January?
That waragi stuff was horrible! Nile Special beer was good though! I honestly can’t remember. I’ll have a look on the slides, they may be dated I guess. We stayed in Jinja most of the time.
Doug I had all my slides put on a dvd I think it was timpsons or boots can't remember which but did a good job Bazza
Haha, that's ace! And still looks remarkable unscarred by it's experiences! I'm still wading through mountains of old slides and attempting to scan them onto my computer... it's a labour of love I return to on rainy days!
This ^^ Jessops did a few for me a while back - not expensive either , worked out about 10p per slide for 300 slides , the more you did the cheaper it was .... (Although a beery slideshow is a wonderful thing )
