Pear and walnut salad is my first thought Hows about a base salad that can be added to? Put all the ingredients out and people can choose what they want. These ingredients can be a combination to cater for everyone's dietry needs. Baked potatoes on a fire/bbq?
here's our version of paella, come over at rtth's and have a taste Bek (minus the chorizo and shellfish) http://thelatebay.com/index.php?topic=504.0
wow thankyou everyone who has been helpful so far we have found that co-op, morrisons and sainsbury's do a hard goat's cheese that doesn't taste of goats. which works out fine cold or melted. i've bought goats butter and goats double cream from waitrose but it was rather "goaty" so lou wouldn't eat it. In the van i just use sunflower oil as we don't have a fridge but at home we use vitalite which is great for baking. i'm not always wheat free i just know i feel a lot better if i don't eat eat it all the time. bek
