Oh crikey - cooking rice...

  1. I get rice to the boil then turn the stove top off nowadays

    I hate electric cookers as they take an age to respond to what heat you need at a particular time
    So once the waters boiled i know the latent heat in the stove top will finish it off

    I then run a boiling kettle of water over it whilst its in a small mesh sieve
    Fluff then serve


    When im camping it normally gets soaked in water for a while and chucked straight into the pan cooking the meal to go with it
