Northumberland camper

Discussion in 'Introduce Yourselves' started by North man, Apr 21, 2022.

  1. Hi all. Long term camper owner here but new to forums. Have been driving our Nov '72 built ('73 model year) Westfalia Continental since the mid-1990s. Have done some minor jobs on it, but kept it as original. Its been to France many times, though in the last 10yrs or so its mainly pottering around on day trips rather than extended camping. van small.jpg van small.jpg

I thought it was Fiat Chianti Red but I just googled that and the Fiat colour looks really bright. It was definitely a Fiat colour though that's probably not much use for you if you're trying to match yours.

  14. Many thanks all for a warm friendly welcome. It is indeed beautiful up here, though a tad cool sometimes in the east winds. Lovely open country for vans though, and a view around every corner.

  16. @North man I think I've seen that Bus are you in Stocksfeild?

  17. Hi Geordie.
No, not Stocksfield, a little further west. Can't remember the last time I took the van that way - on the A68 and A69 a bit, but more usually pootling about on the Military Road.
