Eeeeee, excited and awake before my alarm as we are about to set off for our first foreign holiday in Sammy to France. I hope starting him up at about 5am doesn't wake the neighbours

I thought I was winning in my two day battle with removing some bamboo, roots and all, but being awake and aching all over may mean the score line between me and Bamboo is not as clear cut as I thought!

 

Ironic, i was awake when the solar lights in the garden lit up at dusk last night , and i am still awake now just as some if them are fighting to turn off as dawn is arriving, they seem to be fighting over the decision as to either stay on to give out light or turn off to charge up their battery as a bit of daylight is appearing .

 

Marooned in Gatwick South Terminal - waiting for the check-in to open. Encouraged to arrive early only to find the place is virtually shut.

People lying about everywhere, but outnumbered by hi-viz contractors who seem to be busy doing nothing.
