  1. Hello guys just to introduce myself to the forum I live in cornwall and have just bought a 1973 late bay project for restoration - I've paid £2000 for it. It needs loads of welding and an engine, but seems saveable. I've got a friend who can weld and a bit of experience restoring mini's myself so hoping it will be ok!!

So just wanted to say hi to everyone - as I'm sure I will be picking your brains soon! Cheers, john

ignore me mate, it's a running joke i have with anyone daft enough to weld one...... after 21 years of rusty landrovers when i looked at rusty bays i gave up and bought a californian one.... i now say weigh it in at anything that has a problem.

  18. Lovely interior

  19. Welcome along, you have your work cut out there. Good luck and get welding done asap. You might want to think dry storage also . Put up a resto thread and take loads of photo's for documentation for when you have finished, that is when lol. Is it a Devon conversion
