do you miss it? really i mean? i only moved 15 miles but i went bcak to my old village the other day to go to my moms grave etc and i felt proper sad - i'd move back tomorrow..... it's difficult for people who haven't lived in the same place all their lives to understand...

I'll end up back in Yorkshire one day but maybe not In the same Village, It's a sh1t hole since all the work went and it's not the same, Living down here I never realised that everybody works and always has, they've never had the bad times, it's a different world but a really nice area to live and work

slightly different but i get ya, i just like familiarity...same faces, same shops etc - simple things.

  4. Chris Evans will bring new life to Top Gear.

I stopped watching it as it was the same old stuff. Chris is full of energy and enthusiasm and he loves cars and has a collection of his own.

His Radio 2 morning show is very successful and he organizes the car events on there to raise huge amounts for Children In Need.

Good luck to him. I will be watching it now.

  5. I think it's a brave move having Chris Harris as a presenter on the BBC's flagship motoring show.

I'm not sure what Big green puppet bird in a nappy will add to the show but it will certainly bring a new dimension to the road tests.

I quite like his feature films. Quite wanted a CLS not the AMG per the video below but ended up with a C class as I could get a new one cheaper than a second hand CLS and the new C class looks better/modern inside.

    No dodgy clarkson faces here...

I am glad the old Top Gear ended the way it did with people getting kicked out for being an oaf instead of with an aging presenter in a tangle of metal.

I enjoyed the USA version where they showed how you could keep tension in the team without overt silliness and predictable gags.

With so many presenters will there be any time/space for cars?

I'm just distancing myself from this if it carries on getting racist, my point was the show was so homophobic before and has swung so far the other way it's ridiculous, I'm surprised they didn't go the whole hog and have the whole of the village people in the team.

  16. I think you need to look up the definition

Let's face the truth it will only be the same show in name only so really we shouldn't compare new with old.

Indeed, the show was a different beast when Tiff, Vicky B-H and the spiv bloke with the receding hair were on it, and there was an incarnation before them as well if I remember correctly.
