Okidoke - bought new seals for Cab doors, slider, tailgate and engine cover - and now my bus looks like an overstuffed pillow case.
I take these things do settle with time - any tips to speed the process up or a timeframe for how long they might take?
They are good quality seals (i.e. bought from reputable companies) so am happy they are the correct ones!

Unless you paid about £45 each for cab, 60 ish for the slider and rear hatch, and got the sq profile engine hatch one, you'll have trouble in my experience.

If you did, did you glue them in (bad if done wrong)?
Procedure should be remove old seal and traces of glue (glue-gun and silicone really bad - evostick bad in a different way). This could take a day in itself. Adjust doors for best fit. Fit rubbers without glue apart from:lower half of front of cab doors and maybe the rear bottom corner, bottom of slider if a sill without the retaining lip has been fitted.

If the good ones are used you'll only have to slam the doors for a few days, but it's worth it. Keep them closed properly and a week later it'll be fine.

  5. Does anyone know what is the best glue to use for fitting seals??

I've fitted new ones but they don't want to stay in place around the bottom of the doors :(

  7. I remember there was a definitive statement on who to use to source the door rubbers, but it has gone in the armagedon.
Can anyone remind me who I should go to for the best door rubbers and window trims (opening q-light) please?

The good ones are about £45 each - the crap ones are £15 - you'll notice.

If you want really good seals, I just got some from Custom and Comercial. The slider one is definitely a cut above the opposition. Nice chap too. They also do deluxe seals for/and with the proper metal inserts. Arm and leg time, but if you want to keep your bus original stylee...
