Yeah, I saw that somewhere, too.
He’s got to have the most famous cock, in the history of Grunge.
    Nevermind, said the judge…

  4. He has apparently, after spending the last couple of decades literally living off the fact it's him on the cover. He's been so traumatized by his childhood exploitation that he's re-enacted it a number of times over the years....

It is said Cobain was heavily influenced for that riff by the main riff of “More Than A Feeling” by Boston

This album was my awakening in my teen years.

Put it on in the van on the way to and from work…. Almost perfectly side 1 to work, side 2 on the way home!! I arrived and could have sworn I head that fuzzy end of tape noise and the click as Polly finished.

alas it was an MP3 and it was just my mind playing tricks on me!!

we’re road tripping (pun intended) tomorrow but I don’t think an hour reminiscing to Blood Sugar… would be appropriate with the nipper riding shotgun!

Me too…. Not really until maybe 97 / 98 at uni when I was a bit more open minded and then Californication really grabbed everyone’s attention and was so much more commercially digestible!

Yeah, I got quite into him as a guitarist around that time… he had to retrain his arms and hands to actually play the guitar for that album after cleaning up.

Hence everything is slower, more chord based and far easier for me to learn!!!

I might argue that “I could have lied” possibly rivals most tracks on Californication as one of my favourites to play.

    Anyway, back on topic….
