  1. That's what I'll suggest next time they knock.

You'll get nowhere - the cops like busy bodies. 6 months after I quit a lowly job, the cops sent me a parking ticket for the bosses Mercedes. The scote had told them he'd lent it to me! I had to travel right across Bristol, summonsed by the coppers to explain my non-payment of ticket. When I explained the situation and that no way on earth he'd ever lend his car and suggested they do him, they weren't interested and kept repeating they were sure he must have made a mistake. Mistake my arse! Thing is, what they were trying to tell me is that's what he'd say and that would be the end of it.

Cops have their own agendas and chasing this guy, who doesn't break the law, will be a waste of their resources.

  3. Things is you could tell the police officers thought it was pathetic by the look on their faces and their complete 'do what you want attitude'

No laws broken by either party - no fun for the cops. Retaliate (which he wants you to do) and your in the mire. Stay cool. 8)

  5. Don't get it. Why do they bother coming out. If I rang the police and said " can you come out cos I don't like my neighbour and he's done nothing wrong. " they would tell me to f off. Lol

  6. Same, Oscar, I dont see how the call would go:

"hello, I'd like to report a car parked in my bay"
"OK Sir/Madam, Is the vehicle in your designated parking bay?"
    "No"
"I'll send a unit out right away to get it moved"

    Really?????

  7. How weird, the police round here wouldnt come out to loud music at 4am but turn up to a car parked in the wrong spot according to 1 house.

If i was you OP i would try and have them done for harassment and wasting police time.

    Some real dickheads about lately

  8. Seems they are trying a new tact now, got a letter from the department of work and pensions today informing me that a compliance officer is going to be making a visit shortly to investigate some issues that have arisen. Reading up on their website it seems these officers are involved in fraud allegations.

I'm completely honest to DWP, I don't work or do anything on the side. I have no savings, I'm not fiddling the system, as I've mentioned before I don't go out or do anything or spend anything as I have nothing.

Starting to get a bit personal now.

  9. I would love to know what you did to offend these people.
    ;)

  10. Don't fit into their demographic maybe?

  11. Never an easy one, at least if you had diddled his wife you would have had something in common ;)

i'd be knocking the door by now asking what his jeffing problem is.

  13. I did pull the mrs to one side and have a chat the other day. Obviously she denied everything but did accuse the neighbourhood watch chap quite openly. He is an old boy that doesn't do much and apparently, according to a few, is pants at his job. Likes to get up early and have a nose about.

Perhaps my accusations were wrong and it's this bloke. I don't know anymore.

Either way, who ever it is needs to get there nose out of my life.

I hope you are logging all of this?

A written record is the nucleus of am anti social behaviour complaint from YOUR end - them using all these legal authorities to log make accusations against you is harassment.

Keep your powder dry - every time they make an unfounded complaint, brings proof to any case you might take up.

  17. One of the reasons I'm putting everything in this thread as it happens. That way I have a time stamp. Also keeping a hard copy.

I'd also google to see what others have done - what legal steps etc.

Appreciate its hard when you don't know who might be doing it.

One approach I've seen is to give people in effect a bullet to shoot you with, but change the detail slightly with each, so you can differentiate.

An example might be to say that one of your cars actually doesn't have an MOT or is a ringer - and change the car with each person you are talking too (appreciate if you have two cars you can only do this with two people). If you drop it into a conversation in a conspiratorial way, be subtle - and see which car gets the complaint.

Appreciate this isn't 100% accurate (they might not take the bait, it also might not be either of them!) but there a subtleties you can use - I'm thinking life as it were right here and now.
