I've noticed that the cars they use on The Sweeney do have their genuine plates, so we've spotted quite a few vans on there and run them through the DVLA check (sad, I know). However if you watch old episodes of The Professionals then all the cars on there are running on false plates, even Doyle's Escort RS2000.
