My samba replica is nearly complete

    I was just wondering if it was based on a fleet line have you got a plan to ge an older reg if thats possible.
     
  12. It's a 1971.....I may try and get an older registration depending on cost.

  14. Yes Brazilian, it was a complete bottom up bare metal restoration. I travelled over to see it last week and well chuffed with the result :)

    If you manage to get a 60s plate I would be interested to know how you went about it, I have just registered a 57 split and it says non transferable, I dont know if you could put an older private plate on it though. At the end of the day a J/K plate in black and white won't look too bad on it.
