So in one of the mags was some replica B.R.M's set of 4 £1,100

That's almost half the price of my van and I have some of these wheels, no idea if real or replica but quite honestly I don't care.

There some other articles but might start a new thread for those.

He's being very cagey and ignoring us so he can keep the bloke all to himself.

You should have waited another 30 seconds... :)

I'm not prepared to share his contact details until I have spoken with him as he does it for fun and not a business so want to check he is happy with me passing his details on.

Not that it matters but earlier on you said you'd spent £600 on the roof!
    I did a simple £1000 - £600 = £400!

  7. Genuine speedwell BRM's are worth about 7 k a set

Your right, however I clearly missed of that including that £600 was the fabric used for canvas - which was done elsewhere and at the beginning of the year.

    So over the year

    320 on canvas
    40 on roof lining
    250 on paint

So yesterday I took out the crappy sliding window and fitted a quality sliding window.

Looks like if has a green tint.

Much better quality and fit over that last one.

Bit of a disaster today. Accelerator pedal broke so its going to be fun to get a replacement.

  19. Your pedal has been repaired before!! That's like a shed door hinge gas welded to the pedal!!

You'll also need to get the floor pivot for the new pedal!! :)

Cheers Paul, pretty certain it had been repaired before, didn't realise it was a shed hinge but see it now :)
