It's had abit,here and there..im no painter so not 100%. It going for mot today and service .the guy knows em inside out.ive told him to go over it inside out ,as they say.so will no abit more buy the end of the week.its a solid van,but as said ive seen a tiny bit over over spray here and there., ? but I am well to fussy for these .i forget they are 30 + years old.i suppose im trying to find a van like my old one ,which I must realise it's not gonna happen.
Well he's back from the garage,and all mot,d.not mot fails but things that needed to be done have been done.was a good bit more then I wanted to pay out for but ,nothing like having a bit more peace of mind now when driving.had abit more paint then described to me ,but that's some people.but all panels are true to the bus ,no"bondo".and as solid underneath as you would find..one key fits all locks.so happy.also drives lovely.62000 on the clock which the garage reckons is true.
Well ,and I don't really know why .thebus is sold and it's gone back to its birth place.the deal was done through emails over a good week ago.said they had brought the flights and would be here Saturday moring at 7. 50 .was hoping that they would,nt turn up and it was just time wasters.i had second thoughts about selling and had other people wanting the bus who had offerd more money .couldnt do any more deals just in case they did turn up.well like clockwork the Germans turned up .well email from tube that I said I would pick them up from.what a lovely couple and the deal was done.drove it all the way back to Germany without missing a beat.,and bus less again.not one of my best moves .well I'm a man of my word so could,nt back out.i be leave in fate ,so it must of meant to be.kids are not happy. Thing is it had only just been UK ,mot,d and new lights put in .lucky I kept the old ones and we swooped them on the day. Had a bit of bad health last year ,looking back łife is good.now thinking do I go for more of a doer uper and make a show bus ?.
