  2. Well,,drive up here,,join the the best vw show scandinavia can offer, drive back in my crew cab, Ill swap with you

  3.
  4. Did you see the pics of my bus i posted?

  5. yes I did,,what's the inside like? and have you taken the rust on it ?

  6. Theres no rot in it now dude i cut it all out and welded in new but ive still to weld the inner arches

Inside is bare but comes with full width metal frame rock n roll bed
metal fold down buddy seat with extension seat and working 3 way fridge theres also a bed up top not bunks
freshly fully rebuilt 1600 tp engine only done 150 miles at most

the bus probably owes me 6-7 Thousand at the moment and i do the work myself

Its an ex dutch fire bus that was converted and came to the uk in 1978 and was waxoyled from new

  7. Offer stands :)

  8. How rough is the wedge dude and how old the engine?

If we went for a trade id hate to be off the road again and have another dub i couldent afford to fix

  9. Solid as a rock,,ex army, less that 60k on the meter last ac model,1982

  10. Can you take a lot of pics of it all over for me please dude?

I have to let you know the beams off mine at the moment as im replacing all the mechanicals with new
Im waiting to pick up the suspension arms from the engineering workshop atm

That's about all I have of it atm. I'll take some more if you like,,you know the usual ones,,under, inside, all the spots where there is usually rust etc.,

  12. Yes please holmsen all the underside and all the usual spots of trouble

Let me tell you ive been burned by several motors in my life not been as they appeared
Im not saying your like that dude as you and slackers has a great reputation

The reason my bus is not fully restored and gleaming is because a few people died in mine and the wifes life and i lost my forces career and we have had a few forced house moves so everything went to rat Marmite

If i had the time spare my bus would be finished by now but in order to pay the bills my wife works all hours and i have the household chores all hours

The idea of swapping my bus for your wedge fills me with ideas that i wont have a dub off the road long term and your wedge suits my country work

    Three thing that worry me

My bus isnt what you expected

your crewcab isnt what i expected

If we do the swap and your crewcab shows a problem i cant afford to fix or has a part no longer available

Im up for a swap dude but dont want to end up worse off not that you are like that
