You've got what looks to be the same poptop as me... sopru - have you done any work on the roof vent/light as I could do with a replacement.

    Thanks

    @Razzyh
I've not done anything to the roof light, although it could do with replacing as its all cracked.
I had a link to a site selling replacements some time ago but cant for the life of me remember where it is....

Yes cracked is the same problem with mine, I've had a good look on the interweb and haven't managed to find anyone selling replacements.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I'll try and find the link out. Cant for the life of me remember what computer I was on when someone sent it to me!

  8. Are you going with a 2.0 or a 2.5?

  9. Baysearcher

    Baysearcher [secret moderator]

    Just the 2.0 mate.
I went out in a 2.5 and its an awesome piece of kit but decided the 2.0 would do me!

  10. The 2.0 should do you just fine. I'm looking at a 2.5 turbo for my bus, but I'm going in a little different direction.

    The turbos start at 280bhp.
    That'll be mental!

  12. If you go turbo you will need to relocate the fuel tank as the turbos encroach into the space the stock fuel tank occupies
Plus cooling is going to be a massive issue

If money was no object and i wanted to go suby id go for the naturally aspirated 2 lite and stroke it along with headwork and aftermarket throttle bodies and managment

Torque rules when it comes to heavy vehicles

  13. mate of mine down the road has a scooby conversion, I think he has a cossie intercooler mounted underneath but I can take pics and post them up if you like?

When are you due to get it back? Looks very tidy :)

Not sure really. It should be about 3 weeks in total and they've had it over a week so I guess maybe 2 weeks.
    Can't wait!

  19. We are going to need LOTS of pics when you get it back!
