Edge strip fitted this morning and more fixings around the roof edge. Snapped drill bit and lack of screws stops play unfortunately so won't be finished until next week. They can get on with the wax-oiling anyway so no real delay. Rugbys on in a bit so some would say it was good timing
I've got the same. I think it's funny as it's right under the drain hole on the gutter. Obviously the Aussies never thought it would end up in Scotland. My 240 hook up has been moved so no chance of frying myself. @Baysearcher Pop top canvas looks similar colour to mines. Maybe a little lighter. Looking back I wish I'd sprayed the roof & pop top as it's the only part the PO didn't do.
It was the only bit left on mine too mate. It's a risk as you don't really know what you're going to find when you take it off. Luckily mine wasn't too bad! It's going to look lovely once it's finished.
Yes mate, Porsche. Repro though as they're wide 5. The roofs coming on nicely, not too much left to do!
Interesting to see it now sitting so seperately on the tin roof. Not often you see one of these roofs that hasn't been melded into the steel roof with a ton of filler, it looks SO much better now. Great job, I bet it's cost arm + leg!
Cheers gents! There's still some wing beading to fit between the roof and the poptop but there's no way I'm fillering it on! It's cost a few quid but luckily it's been done on mates rates
