no doubt J.B is in a good place, will be interesting if he finishes higher than Lewis in the championship - will he take the number 3 and Lewis drop to 4.....or will Jenson be diplomatic?

  4. I prefer JB to Lewie, although i've got to say somtimes he seems to need a kick up the arris to get him moving :) but when he is he has an outstanding driving style.

Its a shame Kobayashi didnt have the car under him today, though hats off to Perez for holding his own and making the tyres last :)

See i did watch it, i even caught most of the run up show ;)

yeah good race all in, 4 tedious ones to come as we use it for next years testing...........

  6. I dunno theres still the battle for 2nd place, button vs telfonso, and if a bit of next year tesing creeps in thats not so bad as long as McLaren keep an eye on Red Bull and can start next year with a car thats at least equal to the red bull car that would make a change :)

Points are awarded as follows: 1st place - 25 points; 2nd -18; 3rd - 15; 4th -12; 5th - 10; 6th - 8; 7th - 6; 8th - 4; 9th - 2; 10th - 1. If drivers are tied on points, positions are decided on results countback. Wins are compared, and the driver with most wins is classified ahead. If wins are equal, second places are looked at, and so on

so with 100 points still available 2nd is very open
shortened the above post as only one of these can come 2nd

  9. Well done Schumie! Kept a Ferrari behind him and came in 6th. Now just 3 points behind Rosberg. Brawn promises a much improved car next year. With more funds and new top designers (previously with Ferrari and Red Bull) on board, maybe Merc GP will find themselves in the top 3 teams next year. Give Schumie a decent car and he'll get an 8th title. And rumours floating about say he'll be signing for 2013 and 2014 too. Still every chance of it. One team's (Red Bull) domination never lasts forever.
