  1. In a vague attempt to graduate from frying spam, one of my staff recently treated me to a copy of the above book.

    Very sweet of him.

But I'm not sure I'm going to get on too well with any book that lists adzuki beans as a store cupboard essential

    ::)

  2. Hahahaha no - not her.

She's Rowland Rivron's wife, if that's any help!

Currently on the page about whole roast chicken in cider. At least I have half of those ingredients already ;)

  3. found her!

very anxious to get, "our caravan in Biarritz" heaven forfend. don't want people to think you camp in a muddy field in Brighouse frying up spam ;)

    keep to the cider love,

Julie's reasoning - stay with me, spam's like ham, ham's pork, therefore thinking pork chop with a nice cider, mustard, apple creamy sauce.

So you've got spam and cider ... what's holding you back?

  4.

I'll be knocking out haute cuisine before you know it.

Seasoned pork on a breadcrumb base with a cider jus reduction

 yep that'll do it ;D

  5. translation, spam in batter with a cider chaser

or spam butty and a litre bottle of white lightening >:D

Saw this in an old issue of VW Camper and thought of you, Yorkshire Campers (sorry it's a bit small). Personally I'd suggest adding a dash of worcestershire sauce for extra piquancy...

This is NOT an entry for December Meal of the Month btw.

  8. should we offer it up as Zoe's contribution? hahhahahahah ;D

  9. Ha check me out - I am officially a "chic" camper O0

The oil would have to go though, and definitely add the worcestershire sauce. 7 minutes cooking time?? They obviously haven't had breakfast in a camper with hungover and hungry Palethorpes - that bad boy would be whipped up in a mere 120 seconds.

  10. Crispy spam appeals to me more than warm spam so I'd probably go for the 7 min option but you're the expert!
