mk1 golf gti 16v

  1. hi all
    its now that i regret that i have to sell my mk1 gti after spending 1500 on getting it back on the road ive found i just dont use it and want the cash to finish my camper project .

    it started life as a 1.6 gti but now has a 1.816v gti engine in it .
    so its a 1.8 16v gti 1981 in inari silver sun roof model
    ive just had loads done to it whitch includes
    mot till may next year
    tax till may next year
    4 new piston rings
    new valve guides
    full engine re wire
    new crank shaft oil seals
    new rear brake clyender
    head gasket
    engine seals
    starter motor
    plus more

    the spec of the car is 1.8 16v conversion with a ashley 4 branch into a 2" stainless systeum ,g60 280mm front brakes,1.6 8v gear box ,fk coilovers ,rust free shell ,rust free sunroof ,13 row oil cooler ,power coated engine parts ,22mm master clyender and servo plus more, vdo clocks in yellow (not wiered in ) new clutch cable ,new throtle cable ,and its running a 50 mm inlet manifold

    not so good bits

    the body work in places and the fact the bonnet is rusty rat look and the front bumper is damaged
    does need paint in places and there is one link on the fues board im not happy with but another board is included and the wiper stalk seems to be faulty but again one is included in the sale .
    the inside of the car is in good nick but no parcell shelf and only one side door card in the back and there is no head lineing its just matt black ,ow and the ide does not have the gti stripe down it but that also will come in the sale
    i want around 2300 ono as ive spent alot on , with a new paint job id want more 07779923226 located in tamworth
