  1. Thanks to Dean dp67bug Milly is now running spot on, he put her up on the ramps & straight away said its the fuel pum, cleaned the connections & now she's running spot on.

Jobs to do before the show:-
1.) fit my front mesh sun visor
2.) fit the corner De-luxe trims
3.) fit the gas pipe to the hob & put the unit back together
4.) wire up my electric tap

6.) sort out why the alternator is pulling the battery down over night
7.) Plastic coat the bumpers & over riders & fit them back on (removed ready)
    8.) finish the laminate inside
9.) fit my lower dash parcel shelf
10.) get new curtains made & fitted
    11.) recover the front seats
    12.) fit my reversing alarm
13.) clean & polish her inside & out

  2. Wouldn't start again today so I've ordered a new Bosh fuel pump, hopefully that will cure the problem.

  3. Well I can knock one job of the list I've fitted my new genuine door seals & these fit much better than the ones fitted when I had it:-

  4. Found a local guy to do my seats now ready for the Volksworld Show

  5. Right an update a guy called Nigel from Motolec came out today with his box of trickery, & done a diagnostic on the bus, he said the fuel system is fine so are the electrics but the injectors are pulsing to long & flooding the engine this he thinks is because of the Lambda sensor. Its the one wire type that earths out on the body of the sensor so I'll need to buy a new one, its fitted into the exhaust tail pipe. I'll ring him once I've fitted the lambda sensor & he can check it again.
This is Motolec down Deans yard, sorting out Milly:-

  6. Fitted my new lambda sensor removed the old one, screwed in the new one, soldered the old wire to the new & heatshrunk it, I also heatshrunk over the sleave to keep any water out of the sensor body:-

Still not working so Motolec will need to pay a return visit.

  7. Well at last a bit of good news, Milly is now running the fault was the cylinder head temp sensor it is not fixed but we proved it by fitting a 330 ohm resistor & I drove her home.
    Thanks to Barry Ben
    Speedy Jim
Motolec (not the south conneli ones they are tossers)

Got the front bumper on need my brother Richard to fabricate me some brackets then I can fit the deluxe trim & over riders.
I need now to get some coach bolts so I can fit my rear bumper. I also need to purchase a Delux rear trim for it.

I've also ordered the cylinder head temp sensor from GSF so I'll fit that on Thursday.:vhp:

  9. Removed the front seats today & took them to a bloke in Llandeilo called David Rall who I've been recomended.
Anyway here are a few pics of them & the van without them in the horse hair filling is going to be replaced because it is decaying & falling out:-

  12. Looks like I'll need to clean the engine bay it looks dirty in the pics.

Got a master plan to fit my overiders, my brother is cutting out some 50mmX25mm box tube that just about fits over the rubber deluxe strip, this will be bolted to the bumper like so:-
    [IMG]

Two holes will be drilled through the box one on each of the 2 long flats, then an 8mm stainless nut will be welded on the outside of the box section, the overider can then be bolted to the box section:-

The back bumper is now fitted:-

  13. Thanks to my brother Richard I got my stainless steel brackets, & bolted the front 2 on. Its not that clear in the picture but there is a bolt welded to the outside of the bracket that will hold on the overider:-

  15. Time to revisit my list
1.) fit my front mesh sun visor
2.) fit the corner De-luxe trims
3.) fit the gas pipe to the hob & put the unit back together
4.) wire up my electric tap

    8.) finish the laminate inside
9.) fit my lower dash parcel shelf
10.) get new curtains made & fitted
11.) recover the front seats (Already in the trimmers)
    12.) fit my reversing alarm
13.) clean & polish her inside & out
    Still a lot to do.

  16. Been on Milly all day today, gave her a bath & a hover, cleaned all the gruby bits left by the waxoyl attractiing the dirt & reapplied waxoyl to the sills under the seats etc, removed all the rubbers waxoyled behind them & refitted them. I had a few small stone chips on the wheels so I touched these in & painted the weights on the wheels white so they don't stand out as much.
Refitted a part I left off a while back & forgot about & just had a general clean about.
I started to fit the under dash tray (I'll finish it tomorrow) & I made up a mains hook up lead.

Bought a European adaptor & a UK 13A adaptor (got the UK one off Dean in Britania tow bars)

  17. Went to fit the mesh sunvisor today, but I'm not happy about drilling the A-pillar seam so I think I'll just sell it. :(

Time to revisit my list again

2.) fit the corner De-luxe trims
3.) fit the gas pipe to the hob & put the unit back together
4.) wire up my electric tap

8.) finish the laminate inside (I think I'll leave this untill after the show as it looks good from a coupe of feet away.)
9.) fit my lower dash parcel shelf (started it I'll finish it off tomorrow)
10.) get new curtains made & fitted (Got the material my mothers on the case)
11.) recover the front seats Already in the trimmers (nearly done)
12.) fit my reversing alarm (I'll do this after the show its not important for now)
    Still a bit to do.

  18. Finally got around to fitting my chargeing unit that was fitted in a T25. Wired it up to the mains just need to do the 12V side of it now.
There are 3 connections Red; Blue & Black there is no 12V potential to earth but 12V between the red & the black no potential between Red & Blue or between Black & Blue.
There are 2 original wires from the bus that need to be connected one is Red & the other White not sure what these are for yet:-

My M8 Kevin called around & cut the boxing in panel to fit snugly over everything (cheers Kev):-
    [IMG]

  19. My M8 Simon called around today & we checked out the heat exchangers & exhaust system.

This is the old Chug Chug setup:-
    [IMG]

This is the Milly set up:-
    [IMG]
Simon's bus has the set up like Milly's one at the bottom on both sides, I think I need to do a bit of research to see which is the correct one.
