  2. Finally after 4 months and 5 Sewing machines the other half has got the curtains done. These were taken at 10.30 tonight after she made me put them in.

  3. You don't strike me as a bloke who could be forced to hang curtains at half ten at night....... Proper ******* taking on its way. I bet you're running up the cushions right now. It will be almost as camp as my green gingham in no time.
     
  4. Dropped her off at The Camper Shak for her new interior this week. Hopefully have her back in 5 or so weeks

  9. After a minor mishap during jubilee weekend where the the rear left wheel decided to come off whilst i was doing 60mph on the M6 and was luckily caught inside the wheel arch. On the trip the engine was going through oil at a rate of 1 litre every 50 miles so its been out and rebuilt. Went back in yesterday :)

  11. That is awesome. Where did you have the body work done? That interior is great and really like the two double seats.
     
  12. The bodywork was done by The VW Shop they have also rebuilt the engine.

    Were the wheels freshly painted? I've read of them coming loose where there is paint under the nuts. It needs scraping off.

    The restorer must have made a good job of the wheel arch. :eek:

    Blimey!! Glad it didn't end badly.

    Looks nice. Insides look great. That oil leak sounds a bit nasty. Where was it??
