The pipe from the reservoir to the master cylinder, what are people using,
the cost of the part from the usual is ridiculous

    Any suggestions welcome

If you are 100% sure you have a good brake fluid compatble bodge then go ahead.

I am sure your insurers might be interested in how you suddenly ran out of brake fluid.

It looks like it costs IRO £21 from VWH. The correct part should last a long time.

Although I expect e.g. Goodridge make some larger diameter brake fluid compatible hose that will fit, a metre may end up costing about the same as the right part.

Thanks for shaming me into purchasing the correct part, I know it makes sense ordering it now

  5. You’ve still got the main reservoir on the master cylinder.

  6. The new ones sold by most of the suppliers don’t fit
    They are for Brazil busses
Try and get a good second hand one and buy two new rubber inserts that sit in either end of the pipe

Yes,when stripping the bus down i cut it, using the thought of "how much can 6"of pipe be" lesson learned

The ones I can find have a big bend In them and look really long

  9. .. yeah those rubber sleeves that go inside the tube and onto the two reservoirs looked like they'd dissolved into my brake fluid..so worth replacing..

  10. EPDM pipe / tubing. About £6 a meter. As @paradox said, new one wont fit.
