  1. when i stripped the rear suspension to lower it the m14x100x1.5 long bolts where crap so i ordered some more, the ones out of it are 10.9 strength i ordered 10.9 ones but they have sent me 8.8 i dont really want to use these but the van is up in the air waiting for these bolts he will send me the right ones but ive got to send these back first so i doubt i will get them before the weekend would you wait or put the 8.8 ones in

the 10.9 and 8.8 relates to the tensile strength of the bolt, 8.8 is 880MPa UTS whilts 10.9 indicates a 1090MPa UTS...I guess its the shear strength that would matter more due to the directrion of applied loading.
I dont know what the std vw bolt was graded as

  4. Don't use 8.8s on your suspension. VW used 10.9s or better.

  5. ive fitted the 10.9 now i had to pay for them again but he rekons he will refund the money for the other ones

  6. 8.8 will snap so wait for the right ones. :)
