Self employed is great - you cant get the sack. But you can't scive either - well you can but you don't get paid...

 

No you can't - you have to stash any extra in case of times with less work.
And you can't have meaningful holidays...
It's not all roses, but the feeling of having responsibility and some control over your life is well worth it.

hey buddy, checked out your website!
couple of points if you don't mind me adding.
phone number, get a land line on there. people are more trusting of land lines, they know you aren't just a pikey with a van
secondly, de clutter the front page a bit, too much info in one place, get the basic straight to the fact points on 1 page that fits in your browser and expand on these points on further clickable pages.

apart from that, good luck matey
winter is hard, but you'll learn to stash away money through the year for that.
lastly dont forget decent public liability,, hopefully you'll never need it, but who knows

 

Good morning Carl. You're absolutely right. It is a little cluttered on the front page. And I agree with you regards to keep it simple. However these days the competition to become page 1 on Google is so high and that is why there are so many repeated words and descriptions. The key to any good website these days is actually getting the customer to click on to the site in the first place through search results on google.

The only way to do this is search engine optimisation or commonly known as SEO.
Believe it or not there are actually 120 pages on the website. Which is totally over the top.

However what this does mean is if you type on Google search "driveway cleaning Wells next to the sea" I come up position one page 1 on Google

I agree there won't be that much driveway cleaning in Wells But if somebody does search locally, my site is there for them to click on.

Also I do have OCD

 

Regards to telephone number you are absolutely right. I was thinking the very same thing Other day. I'm thinking of getting a second broadband number and then all diverted to Mobile. Can't really use house number as Teenagers ring up my daughter and son's all the time and I can't be arsed to answer the phone to teenagers saying is Connor Coming out to play. lol

 

I did a search for Mr Clever Clean, your links came up and after that? Wiki's pages on the Mr Men, class! ;D Its a shame that the copyright would be :- but can you imagine a little Mr men/ Mr clever clean?
