Leisure Battery install

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by pkrboo, Aug 26, 2011.

  1. I am going to install a Leisure Battery and I plan to put in a fuse box at the front of the bus and also one near the bed in the back.

What thickness cable should i use to go from the battery to the fuse boxes?

Should I run two wires to the two separate boxes or one to the bed one and then continue it on to the front?

How thick should the wires be from the split charge relay to the spare battery?

Unless your going mad with big stereo amps for the cable i would use this cable to each fuse box.

    Ref 65 4.5mm rated at 35amp
Much bigger and it gets harder to fit

put a 30amp fuse on it in the engine bay and run it to the fuse box if you use one of these it uses the same fuses and the van so you will always have spares
