Aha! Have you still got any mudflaps to go with them as well by any chance?

I used Landrover Disco 1 flaps on our @lhu1281 brackets Mark.
Little bit of trimming but pretty good coz they've got a nice profiled edge. About 15 quid or less off eBay.
    Brackets spot on:thumbsup:

The LR flaps match the OG VW fronts with the edge profile;)

We got those in a scrap yard in Albuquerque!
    Off this chap actually.

They are OE, so the brackets are shaped for the outrigger and the flaps are riveted between the metal plates. We spent a few days in there. That old bus donated so many bits we actually named it Charlie...can't remember why now.
You can see me messing about in the slider if you look carefully. Wiper motor, westy trim bits, locks, all sorts...

Great bits of history. I must read your thread about the trip.

What's not to like Mark. You only need the rears and if you get a few years out of them happy days:thumbsup:
I can't remember where I got ours but they wouldn't have been genuine which are over 40.
The rubber itself is easy to change if they don't work out, the brackets will probably outlast the van!

I did think for 15 quid I can't go wrong. I'm doing the fronts too, hopefully preventing stone chips under the front of the sills area.
